LEON
COX
DIRECTOR & LEAD AUDIOLOGIST
Leon is our Lead Audiologist and Director and has been working in Audiology for over 18 years having obtained his Master’s Degree in Audiological Science at University London. Additionally, he holds a business degree.
Prior to becoming Director of Chalfont Hearing Centre which we rebranded to Cox Lewis Hearing, he was a Regional Manager for a leading hearing aid manufacturer. During his career he has worked alongside some of the country’s leading Audiologists and ENT surgeons.
In 2014, he became the only Audiologist in Buckinghamshire to be awarded the Widex Centre of Excellence, Phonak Consultant Approved Status and BSHAA Certified Clinical Ear Care Practice. Making Cox Lewis Hearing one of the UK’s Elite Hearing Practices.
Leon has a specialism working with Tinnitus Patients and is one of the country’s few Lyric trained specialists.
AMRIT
REHAL
AUDIOLOGIST
Since completing her degree in Audiology in 2009 at the University of Leeds, Amrit Rehal BSc(Hons) RHAD CEC has built extensive experience across both public and private sectors. In the NHS, she found working in paediatrics incredibly rewarding. She also had the privilege of working alongside ENT consultants across a multitude of complex adult cases.
Since then, Amrit has been the Director of a national franchise and a Regional Manager for a market leading hearing aid manufacturer. She is currently involved in auditing professional standards for our regulatory body and is also a visiting Audiology Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. Amrit is the mum of 3 cheeky boys and enjoys travelling and having adventures with her family.
ALISON
BACK
PRACTICE MANAGER
Alison joined us in 2014 when the business was Chalfont Hearing Centre and is now our Practice Manager. She brings a wealth of knowledge regarding different hearing aids and understands the challenges of being either an established hearing aid user or whether you are starting the journey. She is married with two grown up children and enjoys spending her time with her family, travelling, gardening and walking the coast paths in Cornwall.
NICOLA
KELLEHER
HCA
Nicola joined us in October 2024. We have known her personally for many years and we are thrilled to have her join our team. Nicola is joining us as an HCA, qualified in microsuction wax removal, otoscopy and hearing aid maintenance. She lives locally and has a young daughter. She enjoys martial arts and baking. She is very excited about her new role and is very much looking forward to the future.
KYMBERLY
SMITH
RECEPTIONIST
Kymberly joined us in December 2023, and is a wonderful addition to our team with her bubbly personality and willingness to help patients and staff alike. Since joining our team, she has gone from strength to strength and has become a specialist in problem solving hearing aid queries along with bluetooth connections. She has indeed proved herself a truly invaluable asset to our business. Kymberly is a Mum to two lovely boys and enjoys spending time with her family and friends and her weekends standing at the edge of muddy football pitches watching her sons!
